Zeliang acknowledges ‘reconciliation’

Kohima Bureau Kisama, Dec. 8 (EMN): Chief Minister TR Zeliang has said that the Naga People’s Front (NPF) legislators have moved for reconciliation as per the advice of the Election Commission of India. Responding to queries raised by the media persons on the latest political evolution, Chief Minister TR Zeliang has clarified that they have offered reconciliation to those who are willing to come together. “We have asked everybody to come together and to resolve the internal crisis of the NPF party,” Zeliang said while talking to media persons at the premises of World War II Museum, Kisama. On asked if the reconciliation will include all the 59 legislators and the two Members of Parliament, the CM responded in affirmation stating that it is open for every NPF members. It was carried out in some local dailies today the possibility of CM TR Zeliang and Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu burying their hatchet and coming together again. There is fear that, if the crisis was not resolved, then there is likelihood of the NPF symbol and flag being frozen by the ECI.
