Noklak is Nagaland’s youngest district

Dimapur, Dec. 21 (EMN): The government of Nagaland has declared Noklak as the 12th district of the state with immediate effect. A government notification, widely circulated on the internet, on Thursday announced the upgrade of Noklak sub-division to that of a district. “The jurisdiction of the new district shall comprises (sic) of the erstwhile Noklak sub-division under Tuensang district, Nagaland,” it informed.
