Manipur boat tragedy: One body recovered, search continues for other two

[caption id="attachment_246980" align="aligncenter" width="900"] Search operation team at Chadong boat mishap  site.[/caption] Our correspondent Imphal, May 2 (EMN): A body of one of the three missing tourists who went missing after their boat capsized during a storm at a reservoir of a dam in Manipur on Sunday has been recovered on Thursday. The body was fished out by the village search party after it got caught in their hook at the site of the incident. On April 28, three tourists went missing after two makeshift boats that they were travelling on capsized. The villagers, naval divers and disaster response force personnel are looking for the bodies since day one. The recovered body has been identified as S Rajib (35), a resident of Ningthoukhong Kha Khunou village in Bishnupur district. The other two bodies Rajib’s younger brother S Romen (29) and another N Rani (19) are yet to be traced.
