Thanksgiving service
DIMAPUR, JUL 29 (EMN): The Joint Committee of the GPRN/NSCN and NNC/FGN will organize a thanksgiving service on the merger of the two groups at Vihokhu village at 10 am August 5.

The committee has invited all Naga NGOs, civil societies, Church leaders, GBs, Naga friends and well wishers including print and visual media personnel - local, national and international – to the programme. There will be a media inetraction after the programme, it said in a release.

NSCN-IM directs
DIMAPUR, JUL 29 (EMN): In view of shortage of domestic LPG to the genuine customers, the NSCN/GPRN has reiterated to all the gas agencies to issue LPG cylinders only to the card holders. In this regard, CAO UT-I Lhoubituo Angami through a notification sought cooperation and support of the Advisory Board of DMC, Town Council, Adhoc Town Committees and the public while warning that defaulters will be strictly penalized as notified earlier.

Manipur cut off

IMPHAL, JUL 29 (EMN): Manipur remained cut off from the rest of the country after a landslide occurred along National Highway 39 near Maram Bazar in Manipur’s Senapati district today. However, there is no report of any casualty. Reports reaching here said the landslide occurred at a place located between Maram centre and Maram Bazar sinking a portion of the National Highway measuring around 80 metres. After the landslide, vehicular movement along the route was affected. More hundred goods-laden trucks bound for Imphal were stranded at Maram Bazatr, according to local sources. It may be mentioned here that the resident of the Inspection Bunglow Colony or the IB Colony of Maram Bazar are presently taking shelter at their relatives place in the wake of the landslide in their colony.
