Attack on Assam church condemned

Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): All India Congress Committee Minority Department’s Observer for Meghalaya, Nagaland and Mizoram Rejaul Karim Laskar has strongly condemned the incident of attack on a Church in Assam by unidentified miscreants on the night of June 20, reported through a press release. Laskar has demanded a transparent and impartial investigation to find out the miscreants behind the attack that has vandalised the Catholic church of Chapaguri in Chirang district He calls upon the Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to ensure safety of every section of society in Assam including the religious minorities and their places of worship.
